Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about your PonyLoop® – from sizing and the ponytail opening to care and shipping to exchanges.
What size is the PonyLoop® cap – and will it fit me?
All PonyLoop® caps are one-size and fit head circumferences from 54 to 62 cm. Included is a black foam insert (sizing clip) that reduces the cap by about 2–3 cm – ideal for head circumferences under 56 cm. To measure, simply wrap a tape measure around your head about 1 cm above your ears.
How does the ponytail opening work?
On the back of every PonyLoop® there's a special opening that your ponytail, bun, or braid slides through easily – at any height, without squeezing. On the PonyLoop® Original, the back opens and closes with a magnetic closure; on the PonyLoop® Vintage, the CrissCross opening keeps it secure. Put it on, pull your hair through, done.
How do I wash and care for my PonyLoop®?
It's best to hand wash your PonyLoop® cap in cold water and let it air dry. This keeps its shape and color for as long as possible.
How long does shipping take, and where do you deliver?
Your order usually arrives within 1–3 weeks of payment; in rare cases it can take up to 40 days. We ship to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Can I cancel or exchange my order?
We offer a voluntary exchange policy: within 14 days of receiving your order, you can request an exchange without giving a reason, for example if the color isn't right. A statutory right of withdrawal under § 355 BGB does not apply to our products where legally permitted – hygiene items and worn products in particular are excluded under § 312g(2) BGB. To request an exchange, email us at contact@ponyloop.com with your order number and the variant you'd like instead. The item must be returned unworn, unwashed, in its original condition, with all tags, and in its original packaging; you cover the return shipping cost, and we cover shipping of the exchange item. What material is the PonyLoop® made of?
Our PonyLoop® caps are made from recycled polyester – lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking, and especially sun-resistant, with UV protection. The stretch fabric adapts to your head. The PonyLoop® Vintage combines a worn-in look with breathable trucker-style mesh.
What PonyLoop® models are available?
For summer, there's the PonyLoop® Original (clean look with magnetic closure at the back, 4 colors), the PonyLoop® Vintage (trucker cap with a worn-in look, CrissCross opening, and mesh, 6 colors), and the PonyLoop® Glitter. For colder days, we also have our beanies: PonyLoop® Beanie, Confetti Beanie, Silk Bonnet (also with pompom), and the Kids' Beanie.
Does the cap slip during sport?
No – the PonyLoop® is designed to stay securely in place without slipping: while jogging, cycling, at the beach, or on the go. For narrower heads, the included foam insert provides extra grip.
Is the PonyLoop® a good gift?
Yes – since all caps are one-size (54–62 cm), you don't have to guess a size: the PonyLoop® fits almost every head. With the included foam insert, it can be adjusted even further – a safe gift for athletes, moms, and anyone who wears a ponytail.
